47. Windisch campus

I haven't written about it, but one of the major things to happen in this region was the expansion of the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz's (University of Applied Sciences and Arts) campus in Windisch --  the town just next to Brugg. 

According to the Wikipedia entry:
It's an institution that was formed when several colleges in several cantons merged together. The different campuses have different specialties. In Windisch, there's optometry, microelectronics, and automation among other areas of study. Overall, there are more than 8500 students enrolled in the different campuses.

The photo here is of one of the older buildings. This past weekend we walked around the campus for the first time, and I took some pictures to share with you over the course of the week.
