Perhaps I should state that there are a good number of expats/foreigners in this region of Switzerland. The PSI in Villigen (a national research facility) and companies such as ABB and Alstom in Baden hire people from all over the world.
08.08 always deserves a bit of champagne; at least for those who got married some 34 years ago. We just had a bit of Veuve Clicquot... ;)) Blogtrotter is now showing that Reykjavik is not entirely grey... ;)). Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend!
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Why is this on display? Obviously because it's the best looking flag in the world, but why else? :)
They could at least put it the right way round!
Colorful!
Perhaps they are having an identity crisis or it's a mixed marriage.
Must be expats living there... The color contrast is so eye pleasing
Why the British flag I wonder? Fans of Prince Charles and Camilla??
