Off to the mountains!
We're off to Valais (Wallis in German) to visit friends and family for a few days. This photo is from a year ago, taken at a beautiful place called Hellela (hell means light in German), around 1600 meters above sea level. I don't know whether there's this much snow there this year. I'll find out and let you know!

I remember driving the German autobahn for the first time and commenting to my wife that I keep seeing exit signs for the same city over and over. I thought Ausfart was a city name. I now understand it is Germany for Exit ... I also distinctly remember seeing a road sign in Switzerland where an extension had to be added to the sign because the word on the sign was so long. Now that would be a photo opportunity.
That country of yours is a tourist brochure come true… Have a nice trip!
